A boy, about 8 yrs old, went to a middle aged man who looked frustrated.The boy asked him to help cross the road, and without even caring for a "yes" from the man grabbed his hand. The boy was jumping , romping all the while. He did not care to look at the traffic. The road was crossed, man was smiling.
Everything was so disorganised about that journey, A family with a baby, abt an yr old, sitting across my berth.The girl was incessantly crying. A packet of biscuits calmed her down.She was unwilling to give a single biscuit to anyone, and alarmed her parents stridently on their futile attempts to take some from her. One beggar in tattered clothes and dreary beeseeching eyes, stretched his hand to ask for food from that baby. i was watchin, there was this moment of deep understanding and exchange, beyond my comprehension, he looked into that girl's eyes; she was returning an intense look.And then, She gave all her biscuits to the beggar.
I was in vijayawada, a town making its way to become a city soon. I had to travel to a place ,not so far to be called distant and not near enough to be christened walkable. I decided to hire a rickshaw. "7 Rs" the rickshaw puller said, with hopeful eyes, frightened that i may bargain it down further. i nodded in approval. After a few minute ride i reached the place and paid a 10 rupee note to that old man. He returned me 3 rs and left. I look at people like those and wonder wether its lack of ability or lack of opportunity which has brought about this fall??Why only mental labour is given importance and physical labour is looked down upon??? Y a country with population 120 crores is compared(and blamed) against US with only 30 crore of population?? We will still have more than two americas here following rules, living life with integrity and being good to people.
I always wondered, why astrology is a science if its still a prediction, isnt science a wholesome reason based concept where the veracity of each fact is corraborated by a discernable, sometimes, seemingly complex and believable reasons. I did not dig deep, but my take on astrology is that its more of a stastical concept, 7 out of 10 people bearing a rahu in the 10th house of respective natal charts faced problems with their daughters marriage.. bammm .. rules and tweaks are in place. They should predict your future taking into account other people's dynamics as well. I plan my travel by train abt five days back, can astrology tell me whether i wud get a reservation or not...( and all u smart pants.. who will come up with something like.. "y do u need astrology for this ..go to railway enquiry"... please leave a comment :D )... if it can tell me, it should take into account all the plans of all the passenger goin by that train on that day .... do u see the point??? your future is dependent on many many other lives. I hope astrology takes care of all that.
You think of a person and suddenly his/her name flashes on ur mobile screen. You think about a person and there he/she is standing at your doorsteps. is there an explaination???i dont know... i have my own version. There are some transmitters and some receptors.you think you are gonna call A, your mind has transmitted your thoughts( waves, i think they are yet to be discovered :D)and out of the all the receptors only A's receptor catches it and your name comes into A's mind followed by ur call ofcourse. Its quick. An obvious question would be Y only A catches the waves/signal/energy??? Many receptors can catch the energy but that signal makes sense only to A, something like a mobile.This happens at a subliminal level, where one is not conscious about the reception. Like in previous example A's mind concieves a thought about you but A himself is not aware that its happening. As a staunch believer in darwin's theory of evolution, i believe, we will soon be able to read/receive/transmit thoughts, at a concious level.
The rain was fierce. Every road was flooded. people had to hide under trees. shops' hoods, bus stops. The downpouring dampened and he recieved a call. She was stuck somewhere between pander dalli and mangal bhavan. A kilometer stretch, which no vehicle was ready to cross; rain water was clogging the road. People had to walk. He reached there and they both started to walk. she was struggling in the water, finding it difficult to maintain balance.She held his hand tight. It was the first time she held his hand. It will last for lifetime.
How can i not write about something as encompassing and engrossing as LOVE. Love... Hmmm..... tell me about it... That first sight.. the feeling that it might... and even the thought that it aint right.... insecurity.. compatibility .. togetherness.. acceptability.... expectations... understanding... jealousy .... posessiveness... correctness.... instincts....not finding answers to questions .. friendship..... the smile which blows away ur guile.... by the end of the day those arms which will help u sleep tight.
